Every year around 250 thousand children in the world get cancer. Over the last forty years, research has made it possible to significantly increase recoveries, even reaching 90% for some forms of leukemia.
A lot has been done, but not enough yet. For this reason, we continue our commitment alongside the Umberto Veronesi Foundation, in support of a cause that is particularly close to our hearts: scientific research and the best treatments to increase the expectancy and quality of life of young patients suffering from myeloid leukemia acute.
This is why we are thrilled to announce our support for the Veronesi Foundation, for the financing of the Palm Research Project ®, which develops innovative research projects in the oncology field.
We are proud to join this important initiative, and to do so we have decided to deploy a precious resource: the sustainable jewels of the new ReCreated™ Ice Blue collection, innovative and environmentally friendly, as they are produced through the reuse of production residues of standard crystals, with a reduction in environmental impact of over 30%.
As part of our commitment alongside the Veronesi Foundation, we have decided to donate four of our most exclusive jewels for a silent auction (on 9 May 2024 in Turin and 6 June 2024 in Milan), the proceeds of which will entirely finance the scientific research on myeloid leukemia.
We believe in the strong power of solidarity and awareness. By supporting charitable initiatives, we can all make a difference in the lives of those facing cancer at a young age, helping to offer a brighter future to these young patients and their families.
